File a Formal Complaint or Compliment

Complaints concerning any member of the Bloomsburg Police Department including civilian and parking personnel may be made by filing a written report, available in the foyer of the department, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All complaints are reviewed and will be responded to by the Chief of Police. Every complaint of police misconduct will be evaluated by the department's Chief of Police and Internal Review Board and responded to.

Complaints may be filed in person with the Chief of Police who is available during normal business hours Monday through Friday between 8AM and 4PM or persons may direct a formal written notice to:

All complaints must be signed by the complainant. Persons filing a "false statement" commit a misdemeanor of the third degree if he/she makes a written false statement which he/she does not believe to be true, on or pursuant to a form bearing notice, authorized by law, to the effect that false statements made therein are punishable.

Compliments concerning any member of the Bloomsburg Police Deparment including civilian and parking personnel made be made by filing a written note and submitting the note to the Chief of Police.
